Well Today’s certainly been eventful! Well done to all our girls for learning all the last minute changes and also to the sparks who came early with thunder to learn their routine as they had lots of member missing! I Was disgusted by the organisation of Hartlepool radio and the disgusting behaviour of the radio presenter, Jason! Due to radio Hartlepool giving out the free tickets, caused every tom, dick and harry to come out of the wood work and into the carnival!!! No organisation to the handing out of the tickets caused a stampede!! Babies, women and children being crushed!! Lots and lots of injuries !! Their was no control at all and Jason just simply made it worse teasing the crowd etc! Myself, our parents and helpers had to try and manage the crowds to avoid more people being hurt! We even helped set up Hartlepool radio and move back the crowd to then be spoke to like crap afterwards!!! Big well done to the Headland carnival committee who helped sort out the situation, and got everything on track! Hawks put on a fantastic performance and entertained the crowds who gathered round! :D Super proud of you all for being so professional throughout it all !! Big thank you to John Murphy for organising that all our Hawks display team got on everything for free all day! Really appreciate it! Girls and boys worked super hard and was great to see them thoroughly enjoying the rest of the day! Thank You :D
