Well, Travel Baseball for Mickey has come to an end. Here is his first tournament as a 10 year old in 2006 on the Sidewinders and his last yesterday on the South Bay Legacy. A few things have stayed the same from tournament one to now - same position (middle inf), batted same in order (2nd) and still asks me after each game how does my swing look. A few differences - he drove me to the games, washed his own uniform in hotel, and was in bed way after me each night. After 100s of games and 1000s of miles on the road, its been a great ride, one I am sad to see end. I am excited to see him move on as a collegiate player, but will greatly miss the games, roadtrips, and amazing times we spent together. Good luck Mickey and thanks for the memories.
