Well, Well, heres another nice mess youve gotten me into! (Stan Laurel). The Internet works (kinda), but is slower than January molasses, FB is worse than that, and not displaying pic, or taking it own sweet time in doing so. Shut up Hillbilly before you get on a rant. Anyway, getting back to the moment, at 6:00 AM, I dared to poke my nose outside for a little look-see. Yep, it is indeed cold outside. As I step outside, I can feel a cold light wind out of the northwest on my face, as my breath turns white instantly in the cold. As I look up at the sky, I can see a sky full of twinkling stars. So, I think that it is pretty safe to say that it is pretty much clear this morning. Making my way down the steps, the thermometer says about 14 degrees F, and still going down. The rain gauge tells me that we received “0” inches of rain, which I already knew. Ok, I came, I looked, I saw, enough; back inside for me. I am sure that there are other interesting things to see. But, they will simply need to be interesting by themselves this morning. Taking my usual look-see at the forecast for about the next several days, all I see is “Gloup” (Mixed winter road kill weather “Glop” soup – Extreme cold, windy, clouds, sun, rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow) in the forecast. I also see that pretty much, for today, it is going to be really cold, with a high of only the middle-20’s, and the rest of the next 7 days, cold, and pretty much well below normal.
