Well Wholigans! What a night! Ill be writing a long post up shortly and posting a load of photos but suffice to say it was amazing. Highlights? Well, the Who touring band backed all the acts including Wilko and The Strypes doing The Kids Are Alright, Rizzle Kicks doing a fabulous version of Who Are You with lots of rapping, um, wheres my notes, oh yes, Ricky Wilson did a blistering 5:15 followed by Bell Boy during which Phil Daniels walked on wearing a parka and sang all Moonies parts! Fantastic. Sheila Ferguson from the Three Degrees was the Acid Queen, Lesley Mendelsohn sang Baba ORiley including playing the harmonica. Shed never played one until yesterday! Liam Gallagher swaggered on to do My Generation, American comedian Rich Hall sang You Better You Bet, well he growled it really. Geddy Lee sang and played bass on The Seeker. Eddie Vedder came on and did Naked Eye, Wont Get Fooled Again and everyone joined him onstage for Listening to You. James Dean Beddingfield was sick so Roger Daltrey was his substitute and thats exactly what he played. He closed the whole show Young Man Blues! Wow!! Oh and did I mention Andy Wise I Cant Explain, Tom ODell Im in Tune, Amy McDonald sang Behind Blue Eyes, film of Iggy singing My Generation (honest!), and a message from Macca. Johnny Vegas came on to do two minutes if stand up and ended up singing Dr Jimmy and The Real Me. Joe Elliott sang Love Reign Oer Me and wow, time for the after show party. Wheres the bar?
