Well a day like today makes everything we go through worth while. Lambert found a forever home today. His new family will send us a family shot as soon as he gets settled in. When a dog that has NEVER had a home to call his own and he is almost three years old - it is certainly a day to celebrate around here. We all hope and pray that with patience and a little time Lambert will get used to living in a home. We all forget the things he doesnt know about - such as steps - he was totally unprepared for steps onto the deck at his new home. A television - he has no idea what that is. An overhead fan - he just wanted to sit and stare at it. The things we all take for granted are all foreign to him - like a pair of shoes being kicked off and dropping on the floor. This kid has a lot to learn and we are confident his new family will help him learn to be a happy dog. Thanks to the Cooke Family in Clear Lake for giving Lambert a chance at a real life.
