Well, a long two day trip home from Halifax was rewarded with deer at the bottom of the Canmore hill, a dozen bighorn sheep halfway up the hill, a moose across from Driftwood and our first grizzly of the season just north of the lodge - what a beautiful to come back to the Rockies!!! Now its time to get ready for the summer season, first tasks today were to pickup our new addition to our local beer scene at the lodge and this summer we will have our local favorites of Grizzly Paw (with the Rutting Elk Red, Powderhound Pilsner and Grumpy Bear Honey Wheat), my big favorite the Wild Rose IPA and our new friends from Village Brewery in Calgary will now be providing a Blacksmith Pale Ale and the Village Blonde - keeping it local and keeping it real! Also picked up plants today to make the place look pretty, got some confirmations sent out for stays this summer and after all that we open in one week - lots to do, looking forward to seeing everyone very soon!!!
