Well a wee round up of my 1st year shooting DTL and being a member of the UCPSA. I have shot nearly all the grounds this year bar one, which I must make the effort next year and travel too Omagh ground and shoot there. Well I have enjoyed myself this year, I have met some good friends on my travels this year and had a lot of help on the way which I have taken onboard and putting into practice (I will get a trap gun at some stage). I have taken hundreds of photo’s of people shooting when there not looking as its good to see them that way and hope I have not offended anyone with taking their photo’s for a wee site on face book. My scores where never great and I tried my hardest too better them every week but just could not lol, but sometimes I scraped in and got into the places which made my day. I have now joined Ballyvea club up in the Analong which I love shooting in and enjoy the friendly banter with the lads up there. I also love the way they do a lot for charity every year. All the grounds we have here in Northern Ireland are great to shoot and any one coming to Northern Ireland for a shooting holiday would not be disappointed we have some of the best views in the world and back drops at the clubs all over from DTL , sporting, skeet, OT shooting, to compac shooting, also plenty of pheasant and duck shoots in some fantastic estates. All I would like say is good luck too all competing next week in Esker at the home international shoot straight and enjoy yourselfs and a big thank you to everybody that has helped me this year from shooting and the claypigeonnorthernireland web page on face book and can’t wait too try again next year.
