Well, after 13 years Ive decided to drop DirecTV and switch to Comcast. I love my DirecTV service, but the DVRs keep failing. This is the third time in 14 months that Ive had to get a replacement, which of course means that I have once again lost everything I had recorded on there (which was a lot!). With Comcast I can switch back to a TiVo DVR! Great technology and an easy user interface. Now if Comcast can just keep the signal coming into my house uninterrupted, well be all set.
