Well, after 4.5 years as the Nursery leader of our ward, I had my last day with these wonderful children. I have served as a president of every ward auxiliary and Stake Primary president. I have been a teacher, several Family History callings, other YW callings and for several years as the teacher and activity days leader of the Merrie Miss, and Ward Activities Chairperson, and a full time mission, among others. And while I truly loved them all, none got under my skin and into my heart like being in the Nursery. There were lots of tears and hugs today. A special thank you to the wonderfully supportive parents of these little ones. I love your children and teaching and preparing them for their time in Primary. Thank you for your trust. And especially thanks for a loving Heavenly Father who knew exactly what I needed in my life during these past 4.5 years. I truly believe that if Christ were to walk in the ward building, His first stop would be to the Nursery (and after going to High Priests Quorum, He would probably make another stop at the Nursery on His way out!!)
