Well after a long and unproductive 7 months or so (well in deep-sky terms anyway), Im genuinely glad to present the first fruits of my newly-sorted mount. Heres the lovely M33 - the Triangulum Galaxy. Taken with the modified 1100D through the Starwave 102ED (no focal reducer). Guided using finder-guider with a QHY5v guidecam. All sat on the belt-driven HEQ5. Was 29x 4min exposures (only lost a single sub due to me knocking the mount!) Cropped slightly to centre the object. Stacked in DSS with darks, lasts and bias frames, and post-processed in Photoshop and Lightroom. May tweak somewhat, but had to get this out there :) I held my breath for way too long last night - lets hope this setup carries on working into the foreseeable future now! Cheers all!
