Well, after a night of playing around with my new Nexus 5, Ive come to a few conclusions: First, this thing is FAST. Like butter smooth and just... fast. O.o Barely a stutter all night with heaps of apps running at once to stress it. Android 4.4s Google Now is nuts too - the natural language you can give it just works and it is genuinely helpful. (EG: say OK Google, can you tell me where the nearest Optus store is, and give me directions how to get there and itll actually tell you and show you where it is on a map and open the navigation app. Insane!) The full HD screen is nice but I do prefer the vibrance and blacks on an AMOLED screen over a IPS LCD. Decent camera, acceptable speakers, FAR better antenna than most phones Ive owned. Im missing a few bits and pieces from custom ROMs that Im used to but since this is only a few days old, theres not a lot out there yet. Naturally this is unlocked and rooted already - first thing I did. For this price this thing is going for, if youre in the market to get a new phone right now (and youre not tied to iOS or Windows Phone ecosystem), this thing is a no-brainer. Good purchase! :)
