Well after close to 12 years as an ICBC Road Safety Speaker I am - TopicsExpress

Well after close to 12 years as an ICBC Road Safety Speaker I am officially announcing my departure from the program. This by no means is me resigning from public speaking. I will continue to speak in British Columbia, across Canada, the USA and hopefully beyond. Just now anyone looking to book me in British Columbia will do that directly through me. My road safety messaging will remain as is; however I intend to now further my focus on other important issues facing todays youth like depression, self-harm, bullying and suicide. ICBC kept me darn busy, and as awesome as that was it also kind of allowed me to become a little too comfortable. I see this move as the proverbial match that will ignite a fire under my ass. My spring / pre-grad months just got a lot more open, and I am really excited to visit new places I have never been before and explore new opportunities that I may not have otherwise had the chance to explore. I would like to thank everyone from ICBC for providing me with over a decade of rewarding opportunities, amazing moments and unforgettable memories. ICBC opened the door for me into the world of public speaking, and for that I will always be grateful. A huge thanks to all of the Road Safety Coordinators at ICBC. I have enjoyed working with all of over the years and consider all of you friends. I wish the ICBC Road Safety Department continued success in your pursuits to make the roads of British Columbia safer. I wish everyone involved with the Road Safety Speaker Program all of the best in the future. In the words of a very wise and beloved man Its never goodbye, its see you later.
