Well, after eight years and 10 months of not owning a television, we found ourselves walking out of Costco tonight with a model considerably lighter than the one we gave away nearly a decade ago. Not owning a TV has become pretty ineffective as a form of cultural resistance with the advent of streaming video on all our various iDevices. And I miss hosting film nights. I cant wait to start them up again. I am pretty sure this will be good for me spiritually, since I can no longer be smug and self-righteous about not owning a TV. ;)
