Well after getting off the truck at 7, eat supper, see the family, then printing checks until 11, bed by midnight and not sleeping well, up at 6:30....get to the truck an am greeted with a flat tire! Theres another $40 pissed away. I should bought an insurance agency / investment company / restaurant......something everyone wants or needs instead of trucks. The risk we take everyday is astronomical.....get into an accident even if its not our fault.....we get sued. Why? Because lawyers think we have money. Trucking is the most over regulated cut- throat business out there. For every one that goes tits up, there are 5 more guys getting in. If I didnt love what I do, or be about done with payments and have a supportive family and crew... this would be on the auction block. There is easier ways to make a living. With less stress. Im too lazy to work and to scared to steal.....besides trucking in the good years treated me well.....so it has to get better again. Well my tires aired up, now to get it fixed and hit the road.
