Well after some soul searching and talking with the other page admin, we have decided to keep the page going. We are TRULY thankful to all the support and following we have gotten. After some research we have discovered that because we are a page and not a group we can NOT make this page private, BUT what WE CAN DO is find the lepers of the group and then ban them if they start stuff. This is where we need ALL members help as if you see someone starting or posting garbage or hateful comments on this page, please feel free to call them out on it and message us on it. I we find them posting garbage, theyll just be BANNED, WE ARENT GIVING SECOND CHANCES TO ANYONE..... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH..... we want this to be fun and not a stress. On a further note we are looking for page moderators to add input to this page and help us keep the positive momentum going. Lastly to but this entire matter to bed I feel I need to convey a couple of matters to EVERYONE on this page so there is no questions and it can be done with once and for all. I Charles Drollette created this page 1 year ago, I fell into Centerpin fishing having met Don Christmas who was talking with me about the numbers of fish I could produce using this method. Having been fly fishing sine I was 14 I was doing ok at producing 3-4 fish/day but when I heard he could out fish me with a pin, the challenge was on. We met at Maxell Creek and when I watched a pin produce a nice Brown Trout on the first drift after multiple people had been fishing for hours without catching so much as a cold, I was perplexed and addicted to figure this out. I then set to researching this method EVERY CHANCE I could. I was able to buy a AMAZING ROD (Raven IM-8 Custom) from a guide (Kurt Schultz) who had a extra that he sold me, (which I still use and cherish). From that day I spent every waking moment I could on local waters from the Salmon river to all the finger lakes tributaries that had the space needed for a 136 rod using various shot patterns, baits and presentations as well as constantly pestering Don and Kurt and any pinner I would see on the water to pick their brains on the system nuances and also flaws(like casting into the wind ) to get to where I am now. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL, IM NOT A GUIDE, I know what I know and more importantly I KNOW WHAT I DONT KNOW AND HAVE YET TO LEARN. I pride myself for being friends with Don Christmas and Kurt Schultz for being the type of fisherman who if they see someone struggling will stop and take the time to give away the knowledge they have and making you a better fisherman. Finally, I need to state that Centerpin Addicts asks that opinions and posts posted and discussed on this page STAYS ON THIS PAGE.
