Well all, some news for you... After hosting Open Mic, Tropical Vibe and Live Music at our café for two years now, Michelle and I have come to the decision to pull the plug on this and return to what we do best, running our café. This decision was very hard for us to make as the public and the community enjoyed these nights however we have lost our sense of “balance” in our lives and we feel returning to our grassroots will help us find our “centre” again. If you’ve known us at all over the years, you might have noticed the changes in us personally since we’ve taken on essentially another full-time job. Something had to give and we won’t make the same mistakes we’ve seen other people do by putting business before personal/family. We hope you understand our decision and we hope that this hasnt offended anyone or put you off. Its a slippery slope as an entrepreneur to continue to add more to your inbox in the effort to try new things. We are returning to doing one thing EXCELLENT rather than several things satisfactorily. Wed like to send a special thanks out to our musicians, performers and most of all our audience members who came out and supported live music at our cafe. Without you, none of this would have been possible and we cant wait to enjoy shows with you in the audience rather than at work. Having said that, we have two more exciting shows for you and they will be awesome! Greg Barry plays here this Saturday (Tix $10) and our last Tropical Vibe will be hosted here at the cafe May 3rd ($5 Cover). Lets make these last two shows special and end on a high note.
