Well another Peterborough over with for another twelve months. An interesting one in the Foxhound ring to say the least with some of the smaller packs taking on the big boys with some very high quality Hounds and although the Championships went back in that direction, it demonstrates that there is a very genuine move out there to breed some lovely hounds. This is happpening now in places where a few years ago some found it harder to achieve. It may not be too long now before one of them wins a Championship as West Kent Payment did at Peterborough in 1978. The big packs must be delighted that in many cases it has been their influence that has made it all possible.
