Well, another big adventure today. We were headed to Jackson to go to the VA and right before we got to the Crystal Springs Exit, the car over heated and we found ourselves on the side of I-55. I called Glen to come get us and figured that would take and hr and a half or two. I am at that point where Im pretty much in a Zen place right now. Ive been exposed to so many calamities and changes in the past three months, Im at that point where its Ok. Like riding a roller coaster a couple of times to get the scare out of you! Haha! You know, it can always be worse. It was cloudy and so that was shade and we were on the shady side of the interstate. There was even a nice breeze blowing. The only thing I was concerned with is that we didnt have any water. Now hear this and its true. I thought, Lord, please keep us safe. Were out here on a busy highway and we dont even have water. Would you believe a pick up pulled over, backed up and a nice looking young man got out wearing a green T-shirt with Green family Reunion on it. He said he was from New Orleans and wanted to know if we needed help. We told him that someone was coming, thanked him and he turned and asked, Do yall have anything to drink or water? We told him no and he went to his truck and pulled out two bottles of Gatorade and two bottles of water! I had no sooner prayed when this young man showed up.
