Well another busy day emptying the caravan and checking what we - TopicsExpress

Well another busy day emptying the caravan and checking what we can salvage. It was so difficult with the van being at the angle it was and the floor so slippery with the mixture I described yesterday. Jean Wright had the best description and that was it must have been like this when The Titanic went down. We got everything out on the grass on tarps and then decided to go to Bunderburg to have a look at caravans. It was dark by the time we go home so had to work with torches putting everything back in van but at least we have seperated reasonably good stuff from the damaged gear. Plenty of that. Now we wait too see what the insurance will do about it, if they decide to rebuild it could take at least a couple of months, from the look of it you would not think that would be an option but stranger things have happened. We did see a beautiful van which was an Empire Solitare 25foot long 2013, brand new but this model had been superseded so it going for a very good price. 25ft could be a problem trying to park it in some caravan parks so if we bought it we would have to view sites before we actually book in, we will have to see anyway..
