Well as another sun sets its time for me to reminisce. On this day in 2008 my darling, trybe and I hopped on a plane to Brisbane Australia. With a plan of staying for 10yrs and then return back to the motherland. Within those 6yrs Ive met the rest of my siblings from my mummah, been home twice, 3 of my 5 have graduated. survived through my big girls double valve surgery at the age of 19yrs old, am now 5yrs 1mth and 14 days sober, got married to my darling of 20yrs, volunteer whenever I can to help those less fortunate than I, been in 2 businesses that have FAILED, learned from those failures, Meet over 1000+ Māori from all over because of holding stalls at Waitangi Days, Gizzy Days and Morehu Days. Have an awesome bunch of friends, Got a Cert II in Security, Cert III in Warehousing, Forklift License, Open (Full) License and RSA. Still NO JOB hahahahhaha, Still have my trybe under my roof (grrrr) yes lying to myself. hahahahaha. Still making ends meet and havent been happier. HOWEVER, I have what I need, which is more than a lot of people can say. NOT RICH Materialistically or money wise, however am RICH in love from my friends and famz here. DREAMS OF FINANCIAL FREEDOM is my ultimate and Im not giving up on that. DONT CARE what anyone says. I WILL GET THERE!!! Because if its going to make my trybe AND TEAM happy then it will make me happy and I KNOW I WILL!!! NOT GOING TO WORK HARD, IM GOING TO WORK SMARTER AND BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH MY TEAM THAT TRUSTS EACH OTHER AND HELP THEM REACH THEIR DREAMS Merry Christmas to all and hoping you all have a peaceful and happy new year.
