Well, as hard as we tried, we just didnt quite reach 90 yesterday. The airport reported a maximum temperature of 89 degrees yesterday which is only 3 degrees shy of the all-time record. The record of 92 degrees was set back in 1902. It looks like it will also be awhile before we break that 90 degree mark. Today may have been able to do it if it werent for the increasing clouds expected this afternoon and the rain to follow. The long range guidance has a cooler pattern for the forseeable future as well, with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s through the weekend.
