Well as most of you have probably noticed, I got my call for my new lungs and liver! Its been seven days and I feel absolutely amazing. I have never witnessed a miracle but this feels pretty close. I believe God has definitely put amazing qualities in a lot people that took part in this. To my donor and their family whoever they may be, thank you. I literally owe my life to one choice that YOU made. I pray everyday that their spirit left this earth in peace, and that their family is blessed and know they are loved by so many people they have never met. My mom, dad, and brother. Oh my gosh without their unconditional support I never would have made it. I was scared before going to the operating room, especially right after someone literally tells you that you could possibly die that night. Oh but the chance to be with my family for 5, 10, 20 years was worth the risk. I love you guys more than anything and I hope you know that. Aunt Donna, you are the most amazing woman I know. You dropped everything for me in one second and didnt even hesitate to come here. After grandpa died I feel like we have gotten even closer , and I am so proud to be blessed with such a wonderful person in my life. i really cant thank you enough for how happy and appreciative I have been for you. My other famliy (you know who you are) you guys are like my mom and dad. Even a big brother and big sister. Seriously you guys, spending more time with you and your kids and now their kids has also been what helped get me through. You have been there for every big moment in my life and now I get to be there for every moment of yours. I love you all so much cant wait for Hawaii and beach lounging! To the doctors, surgeons and nursing staff at UW thank you for making this really terrifying experience seem not as scary as it could have been. I was blessed with amazing surgeons and the best nurses, physical therapists, occupational trainers, and theres so many more. And finally to all my Facebook followers, I know some of you I may never meet but please know you will all always have a place in my heart. This journey has been long, and difficult, and painful, and knowing that there are so many people out there that prayed, sent good thoughts, vibes, messages, anything, has been a huge part of whats helped get me through this whole thing. I could never in words express how thankful I am. And also for the extreme love and support shown to my family, they deserve it all!! I cannot wait to heal and be able to use this great gift I have been given!
