Well, as they say, All good things must come to an end! This is my last post, I PROMISE! Just had to share a favorite memory.......I walked into this precious church and there a was man playing a piano. Well, you know I had to sit down! This little church was built in 1896 and still had the original floors and pews with some new logs in the walls. More and more people began to join us as we all just sat in that old log church singing old hymns like On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand and Amazing Grace! It was one of those moments you get caught up in just thinking about how many times these old songs had been sung in this very building through the ages. And then to be surrounded by Gods handiwork in the Ozarks! It was a simple moment that stirred my heart! Right above the window that looked out over a mountain was carved, I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help!
