Well as you can all see through my weekend pictures, I am doing really well. It has been 5 weeks since my last radiation treatment and every day gets better and better. I saw my radiology oncologist about 3 weeks ago and he was pleased with my progress. After a somewhat painful exam, and subsequent 2 weeks of healing AGAIN, I was told the tumor has shrunk 90%. Basically I still have a tiny node of something. And again, its just another waiting game. The last node could still be shrinking. It could be a million things at this point. I have an appointment with my surgeon next Friday. Hopefully he will also determine that the tumor has shrunk significantly. When I will have a biopsy is yet to be determined because of the healing process. I am grateful to be doing as well as I am. I have played tennis the last 2 weeks and have such a love of the game and the ladies I associate with. I had a wonderful long weekend with my family in Idaho. And, I am looking forward to the end of school and more time with my kids. Thank you all again for your prayers and positive thoughts. Love to all.
