Well, ask me whats been going on in my life the past month & all I can say is pure bliss, joy, state of shock, unbelief, and did I mention state of shock?!? Sunday night before Thanksgiving, there was a knock at our front door. I was expecting Steve home from work, and looked out the front window to make sure his truck was in the driveway before I answered the door. It was nearly 7 p.m., so it was dark. Why he didnt come in thru the garage like he usually did, I didnt know. However when I flipped on the porch light & opened the door, I saw several people...I thought perhaps the neighborhood boy scout & his family were selling something..... When you see the video, if I get the nerve to post it, you will see that it took a little bit before I realized IT WAS KRISTIN, BRAYDEN & KINSLEY, (Steve too!), on our porch!!!! What are you doing here?!?!?!???? was all I could say. Yes, everyone apparently knew, since August, EXCEPT me, that Joeys training in California was NOT pushed back to the end of January or February, but in fact was in December as originally planned, & during his 3 week outing, Kristin was able to fly herself & the kids to KC, for a much appreciated visit. THANK YOU, JESUS!!!! So why am I just sharing this with you now? Well, I wasnt the only one getting surprised....most of Joeys family in MN just found out today!!!! I hope they are as excited as I was!!! And yes, I did get the okay to finally post, as they are now having their Kolar celebration as I type! ENJOY!!! On top of the shock to have them show up suddenly, imagine my dismay when I hear theyre here until Christmas morning.....I had painstakingly made sure our Christmas shopping was complete & in the mail to them back in October. Thus, we didnt have any gifts for them. Or so I thought. My 1st clue should have been when Steve offered to take the 5 boxes to the post office. And although I constantly asked him for the customs slip & receipts so that I could at least track them to the east coast, where they get into the militarys hands, he just mentioned they were in his truck, hell bring them in later, and then changed the subject. God Bless Him, as instead of shipping the boxes, HE HID THEM IN OUR GARAGE so that we DID have presents under the tree, after all!!!
