Well, at my advanced age, Kan and I decided to go to Lumphini Park (google it) a few times a week in the evening to run/walk, etc. The great Thai food and beer have caused me to gain a few pounds. The "yellow shirts" (a group who does not favor the current Thai government) have moved into the park and turned it into a city of more than 100,000, by my estimate, to protest certain government decisions and directions. They are peaceful and there are even some Buddhist monks there support their efforts. To me it is an amazing cultural experience and I wish all of you could experience life in this part of the world. For dinner, we stopped at 2 food vendors who have set up their carts to sell to the yellow shirts. I bought some delicious noodles and sausage for 40 baht (about $1.33) and Kan bought some spicy Thai salad and mango for about the same amount. So dinner tonight cost me about $2.66)...................why do I love Thailand? :)
