Well, back from the doctor and the pharmacy . . . . afraid I have both a sinus infection and bronchitis. Sadly, that will keep me away from church tomorrow. The doctor said I could go if I avoided interacting with people. I said you dont know our church, LOL! So well be delaying our I ❤️ My Church series one week. While wearing your red t-shirt is always awesome, the big everyone wear your shirt day will be next Sunday, February 1st. Rick Daughtery, Bible teacher and basketball coach at Faith Christian High School, will be filling in for me. And I am so grateful for our staff and volunteer teams for taking care of all the details. Please keep praying for me. I still plan to leave for Chicago tomorrow afternoon. The conference, airfare, hotel, and rental car are already all paid for, so there isnt really any turning back from that. But pray that the meds will kick in fast, and that God would touch my body with healing. Im eager to see some family while back in Illinois, and also looking forward to the great teaching and instruction Ill receive Wednesday-Friday. I will miss you all SO MUCH tomorrow. Please plan to come out for a wonderful morning of worship and fellowship! :-)
