Well back to ECMC today. Toe still was not right, sore and draining. Went to the surgical/wound clinic without an appointment and they fit me in. I cant say enough about how great I have been treated by the medical staff throughout this whole facility, true professionals, compassionate, and caring. My doc wasnt in today but saw one of the attendings, Jeremy. He trimmed back the dead skin and prescribed another ointment. Doesnt feel it is infected but wants to keep an eye on it. Going back in 10 days so not going back to work yet. Besides this all else is going well: sugar has been good, joined the gym and legs are feeling stronger (just wish I could get there more often, sucks not being able to drive and with Irenes sprained ankle Mike has been the family chauffeur) and balance is improving. Still resemble Frankenstein when walking down stairs but I can walk them without the use of handrails. Thanks again for all the love and support it means the world to me.
