Well because Im dumb and liked 2 different statuses, I have a total of 14 Unknowns About Me to post. Thanks Ashley and Kortney for the insane number... 1. When I joined the AF, I was originally supposed to be in on the buddy program with Gary Reese and we were going to be Security Police. Gary had to drop due to med reasons and the recruiter suggested that I change my field choice. I picked Aircraft Maintenance. 2. My Childhood Idol was Dave Eichorn (WSYR 9 Chief Meteorologist). Watching his weather forecasts made me interested in meteorology. 3. I make some pretty good gumbo. I started making it when I lived in Louisiana, but those who raved over it dont know that the recipe is from a Dinosaur BBQ cookbook (A BBQ Joint in Syracuse, NY) 4. Im a pretty outgoing person who can joke with pretty much anyone. What you may not know is I used to be extremely shy and would be nervous when it came to meeting new people. 5. The best job I think I have ever had was working at BK in high school. It was always a good time, no matter how busy we were. 6. I took a SCUBA certification class when I was in 9th grade. On my last certification dive, I got sick and didnt complete it. To this day, I am still one certification dive away from being a qualified diver. 7. I recently learned that I am too critical of myself. I set my standards too high and that in turn causes me to expect too much from the Airmen I supervise. 8. I kissed a man and I cant say that I like it. As for Steven Simiele, I think he did! 9. A few years ago, through my own actions, I almost lost what meant the world to me. Somehow it made me become a better father, husband and person. 10. I dont do a lot of the things I would like to do because of fear of failure. 11. I love eating asparagus!! 12. My brain is full of useless knowledge, which is why I probably cant retain the stuff I need to know!! I blame Trivial Pursuit and various game shows. 13. If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life, it would be southern fried catfish. 14. I AM A MEAT POPSICLE!!!
