Well been an interesting 8 days....I am home...had my first chemo treatment yesterday. Took 8 and a half hours, turns out my port that they surgically put in isnt working right, has a twist in it....so I go back April 28th to have a new one replaced. But at least I got my treatment. Feel tired...but no nausea as yet, thank you lord. Have decided no wigs for me.....I am rocking the skin head. Ball caps and maybe a scarf....as soon as it starts thinning I am having it all cut off. Cat scan of lungs, heart, liver, kidneys all clear and lymph node biopsy was negative!!!!! Surgeon staged it at a 1. God is in my corner on this one. Keep praying guys...it is working!! 3 more chemo treatments 9 weeks, then surgery, and 6 weeks of radiation (5 days a week) and I am outta there!!! I have learned so much already from this experience....I know whats important, what my priorities are and what matters in life. Tell the people you care about that you love them....take time with them....hug your kids....stop and smell the roses. And be sure to let God know your grateful for what you have. I love all of you for your support and wishes....thank you. You have all been a bessing to me. I am ordering me and Freds Big Reds tee shirts today!!
