Well, bizarre as it may sound that I am going to start refusing work....... but Ive no choice - I will be shutting down shop and taking no more bookings for Winter 2014. :0( Ive only a couple more spaces left for the year anyway, but from September 2014 to probably February 2015, Ill definitely be closing the books, as I simply cannot handle the level of work and my other film and documentary work is just suffering too badly. I thought Id try and get a bit of time off this winter (having not physically filmed a wedding since 30th August), but due to the fact that this summer was so insanely busy, I am STILL finishing off the editing on my final two weddings (Chris & Catherine and Marina & Stephen), meaning I think I am going to get about 2 weeks off before I start again next month when I have 3 weddings for November and SIX in December!! :/ It goes without saying that my current bookings during next winter are totally, totally, 1,000,000% safe (that would NEVER even enter my head!!!), and of course, its pretty damn hard to turn down a referral (especially if you were a sister/best man/guest at a wedding Ive filmed at before!!!), but apart from that, Im afraid I wont be coming back out of hibernation till Spring 2015: I really, really am sorry about that. :0( Its also probably not a good time to mention that my prices are going up from the 1st January? No? Ok, I think I may leave that bit of news for another time then!! :/ Jeez, barrel of laughs I am this morning! :)
