Well blah!....The doc last night in the ER told us that Carters ANC was 480 (which is low but not awful). It turns out that she was wrong....his ANC was 48!! Today it has dropped even further down to only 32. He tested positive for the rhinovirus, which is the common cold. That explains the cough and ear infection. Unfortunately this means that he cant fight off anything...so he will probably be there longer than we had hoped. Sometimes he has a drastic rise in ANC, but considering the virus and his fever yesterday, Im not holding my breath. We have a busy week ahead so it will be interesting to say the least!.....but we know we can make it all work out! So thankful for the many friends and family that have offered to help out as needed. No fevers since last night, so keep praying that fevers stay away and that his ANC rises quickly.
