Well both beer and wine have been voted down in Amory as well as liquor. it is not over by no means. IT will be contested for conflict of interest . I hope that the churches can keep the city enough money to provide the services that we all get now. I do not think that will happen, since they are tax free. your taxes are going up this year ,and they have to keep going up to keep this city from going broke. No one will not come to a broke city to open a new industry or anything else. unless the city can offer them something to locate in Amory. if they can go to another city that really wants them, thats where they will go. It is a sad day for AMORY, MS.
