Well boys, it was a fun season (until we got to the World Series and you decided not to hit anymore). You had tons of injuries to key players and rookies come up from AAA Memphis that made a huge impact on this team (especially Michael Wacha & Trevor Rosenthal). You played your hearts out and made it to the playoffs when a lot of people didnt think you would. Not only did you clinch the NLDS, you clinched the NLCS and made it to the World Series. While the offense didnt show up this series, you at least played with dignity and respect for the game unlike the Red Sox. While you didnt have to CHEAT to win and dont have a craptastic ballpark, you still went out there knowing all of MLB and the announcers and critics and everybody were against you and didnt want you to win. To Jon Jay, Matt Adams, Pete Kozma & David Freese, thanks for NOT showing up this Series! To Michael Wacha & Trevor Rosenthal, I cant wait to see your futures with this ball club. You are both soooo incredibly talented and Im so glad you wear the Birds on the Bat!! And Michael, while you didnt have your best stuff in tonights game, but when you dont have any offense showing up, you cant win a game, so keep your head up! While I REALLY wanted this team to get a ring this year, I have comfort in knowing that Boston had to cheat to win and that it wasnt raw talent that beat you straight out of the gate. I will forever be a Cardinal Fan and will never give up hope on my team. While they didnt play like they did all season, I know theyll be back in the World Series again soon because they are the Cardinals after all! And to Joe Buck & Tim McCarver, learn how to broadcast the right way. Your broadcasting this series made me dislike you both even more and be soooo glad that this is the last World Series youre announcing! I have no idea how Jack Buck was such an amazing talent and had Joe follow in his foot steps for Joe to turn out the way he did.. (Joe, Its Descalso too by the way not how you pronounce it wrong EVERY time.) On the bright side: theres only like 80 days until the Winter Warm Up!!!!!!!! Until next time, I will continue to wear my Cardinal Red all offseason long and support my team even though they lost! #CardinalNation, even though our team lost, be proud at how far they came and what all they accomplished! Even though we have some worthless pieces to our puzzle, we do have some pretty amazing talent!!! Go Cards! Now time to focus my attention on the St. Louis Blues!!
