Well breezed through 2 head yesterday, 20 days after Cpl. Tunnel surgery on my right hand. I had lined up 2 horses that I knew would stand good to be shoed. Little bit of pain in my hand and of course A little body sore. Hadnt shoed a horse or done much manual labor since the day before surgery. Now today was a different story. This morning I did 2 at the training center, then I came home and shoed my mustangs. They still dont like to be shoed and they are not shy about letting you know they dont like. Shoeing them is Hard Money. Now a spot on my ole body that doesnt hurt. But the hand is taking it pretty good so I plan to do 2 or 3 a day for the rest of the week, then next week should be able to get back in full swing. Sure feels good to get under horses again. I love it so much. After I shoed the mustangs I hitchedum up and went for a (short) ride, cause like me, they are out of shape. Heres a about a minute of my ride if youll wanta ride along.
