Well can I just say a big thank you to every one that came to my assistant today. As you know my dad passed away last week and it turned my world up side down, I was just getting my head round things and sorted for the funeral tomorrow when the funeral director came in his car and said because off the snow on our street my dad would not be able to leave from home in the morning. Yet again I was devastated by this news, how ever I wasnt going to let a little bit of snow from my dad coming home for the last time and his final journey! People kept saying they were sorry and if they could do any thing just to ask so I put on my Facebook status what Id just found out and was going out side with a shovel to clear the street so if any one wanted to help the could. With in minutes my phone started beeping saying people were on there way. So I set about moving the snow, next thing a gritter from barnsley council turned on to the street, he said is this were the funeral is tomorrow, he said his boss had been on phoned and sent him straight up, he went round the street twice then left. Then people started to turn up with shovels, the gritter had softened the snow up so we started shovelling, 3 hours latter and the street was done, I didnt even know some of the people that were there. We think there was about 50 people at one point. Thank you so much to every one that came in my hour of need tonight Dave Yorkshire rose X
