Well, despite my sprained left thumb, played my best game in a while, cause Dump & Chase won 6-4 over Tiger Uppercut last night! Got up by 1-0 and 2-1, then got our game together, scoring three straight to end the period 5-2. In the course of that, I blocked a shot off my ribs, which hurt like hell. On my first shift of the 2nd, I took a tripping call right off of a defensive zone faceoff, (not my fault, asshole dove). That penalty turned into our final goal of the night as we scored shorthanded to go up 6-2. I had my lone shot on net towards the end of the 2nd, as Jon made a beauty of a pass to me in front when Marc tied up their d-man, and my one-timer nearly beat their goalie, only for his left pad to come out of nowhere and rob me. We got scored on twice in the third, despite me blocking a shot off my thigh, and me taking a knee to the ribs on a play in front of their goalie. We held on in the final two minutes not letting their goalie get to the bench to put an extra skater on. The next game is Thursday the 18th at 10:40 pm vs. The Hills Bar & Grill.
