Well done D! On the way home from Panjim to Saligao at lunchtime today the taxi in front of us, full of desi tourists, began to spew plastic cups and Domino pizza boxes from its windows. I began my usual chant about litter and suddenly D pulled over causing the taxi to stop and jumped out in the rain to address the driver and the occupants. I couldnt see what was going on but I was a little concerned... 5 minutes later D got back into our car unscathed and in response to my so? He explained; I didnt shout or hit anyone - I just asked them why they came to Goa - they said its a nice place. I simply asked them to keep it that way not to litter asked them to imagine if everyone came to Goa and did what they did how nice would it be then. I suggested to the driver to try educate our guests to not throw litter and as a matter of policy have a bag in the cab for garbage. To bring up the idea at the next taxi association meeting and for taxis as a unit to help to their bit for Goa. Apparently the guys apologised and reversed back and picked up their rubbish. Great going D! It pays to rant to your husband sometimes!
