Well done and commiserations to the minor team who put in a massive effort yesterday evening in their Championship game v Crossmolina. Their disciplined approach to the plan laid out had the game on a knife edge after taking the lead in the second half, scoring 1-1 on the bounce. The pride and determination was emanating from the green and gold, never losing focus at the task at hand, always willing to battle to the bitter end. This, however, would not stand and the instigator of Ardnaree scores just had to be sent off in a flurry of an unprecedented arrangement of retrospective/prospective/introspective cards from one innocuous and uncontested incident. Crossmolina were satisfied in the end.
