Well done to Jack Waters Cosgrave and Ross Banville who were selected on the Co.U14 panel for the Tony Forrestal tournament in Waterford this weekend. Unfortunately, Jack was hampered by injury for most of the season and he was reserve goalie on the day. They lost a cracking opening game by a goal against Limerick 1-9 to 0-9 with Ross accounting for 0-2 (1 free) from wing forward and then mid field. They were comprehensively beaten 4-12 to 0-7 by the eventual outright winners Kilkenny in their 2nd match with Ross accounting for 0-6 (3 frees) from midfield. Well done to both boys and a sincere thanks to their mentors for their work all year.
