Well done to the PYSL Rec All-Star Yellowjackets for their participation in summer tournaments. Post-season results are: The Boys & Girls Teams traveled to Blacksburg for the National Bank Summer Kick Off. The Boys Team took the championship in the U13/14 Recreational Division. The Girls Team took home 3rd place while competing in a U13 Travel Division. Both teams also traveled to Richmond for the Recreational Sun Cup. The Girls took home 2nd place in the U14 division. The Boys took home 3rd place in the U14 Boys Division overall, and first in their flight. A U13 Boys team also traveled to the Battle in Blue Ridge Recreational All-Star Tournament in Woodstock. The team won their Division and took home the U13 championship. We are very happy to be able to offer these opportunities to our Recreational programs this season, and hope to be able to offer these opportunities for many seasons to come. Please dont forget to register for Fall 2014 soccer so you can be eligible for these teams in the future. It was a great pleasure working with these teams and families. John Miner
