New water pump and thermostat. 500 mi New alternator 3k mi Converted to electric rad fan. Drivetrain 1988 BMW M5 5-speed gearbox 120,000 OG on the clock 140,000ish now Same as 535i, but 1-4 are shorter and close ratio and it has a tall 5th for high speed. Stock e28 533i flywheel. Lighter than 535i or M5. 20,000 mi Stock e28 M5 pressure plate and clutch. 20,000 mi 3.74:1 diff from an e32....stock e28 535i is 3.45:1 (same car that the engine came from...now has 88,000ish on it) New slave cylinder and hydraulic lines. 4k mi New master 2k mi ish Suspension Eibach springs 20,000 mi Bilstein sport fronts. 20,000 mi KYB rears. BMW 850i wheels 16x7.5 all around. Hankook z214 slicks. 225/50 16 . Brand new. Bbs rk 17x8.5 et15 with 205/50 17 24mm front sway bar 19mm rear sway bay Lots of experimentation was done with a total of 7 different bars. By far the best combo to almost never have any understeer, and to have comfortable and on demand throttle control overseer. All front suspension and steering arms and links replaced. 12,000 mi Front wheel bearings replaced. 15,000 mi Front lower control arm bushings and rear sub frame bushings brand new. New 7 series motor mounts. New poly trans mounts Brakes Stock e28 New master cyl. 20,000 mi Cross drilled front rotors and oem pads 10,000 mi New pads rear. Interior Mildly custom. The non M e28s had a black dash with color matched radio / a/c control console, center console, lower dash panel, glove box, carpet, door panels, seats, and door handles. The black looked good, but all the others (blue, date rape red, and beige) seemed overpowering and ugly to me. Kinda like someone spray painted over everything with the same color. The M trim cars however, regardless of interior color, had a black dash, radio / a/c console, center console, lower dash panel, glove box, door handles, and they had a black border trim around the door panels making them two toned.This is how my interior is, but unlike the M trim cars that only came in black, date rape red, or beige, Suzys is blue and the only one like it. The interior is all black aside from the carpet, seats, and door panels which are two toned. The dash has the small number of expected cracks, but overall its in good shape. Otherwise the interior is in good condition. A/C will work, but not now. Currently does not have a belt on the compressor, and Im sure it needs to be charged. Other than that its good for taking the edge off. It will never freeze you out. Corbeau fx1 with side mount rails. Omp wheel. Rear pass window will go down but not up. Needs new switch for front. Thats about it. Price is 5k OBO.
