Well everyone we have officially have some amazing news! I just got all the reports back from Aubries CT scans. As you know, she was diagnosed as Stage 4 bc the cancer had metastasized to her lungs. She didnt have a tumor in her lungs but she had groups of cells and nodules that were cancerous. The hope was that it was minor enough that the chemo would melt them away without her lungs requiring radiation or surgery. I am more than thrilled to report that the CT scans read the two largest lung nodules have RESOLVED with no definitive metastatic cells. Yep. Aubries lungs are CLEAR! The chemo is working! This was one of my biggest worries. I absolutely did not want her lungs to require harsher treatment or surgery. The reports also show that there is marked decrease in the tumor in her face, reporting it to be approximately 1.5 cm in size. That is so amazing! I cannot thank everyone enough for all of the prayers and thoughts for Aubs. She is far from over this battle but she is showing everyone that she can and will beat this.
