Well finally in bed here now with my doggies and will need to get going un the morning early again for the heritage market. One last note on this day. Had a mother and daughter stop at the stand at the waterfront festival. The older lady was around 80 and her daughter got my attention calling over to me as I was waiting on another customer. She said her mother was in need of something with sugar because she was getting faint. I could tell she was about ready to go into diabetic shock for she was starting to tremble. Her daughter ask if she could have a peach but she had no cash on her but will go back to her car and get some but her mother needed the peach now. I told her to take one and dont worry about paying for it. Her mother smiled and nodded her head at me in thanks. After her mother started feeling better they went on their way but after awhile the daughter came back and still wanted to pay for the peach by buying a quart minus the one thst her mother already have eaten. I told no put another peach in the quart for the one her mother had ate was already taken care of. The daughter kept expressing her thanks still giving extra money to me and smiling with a handshake in the end. Seem like after that I kept getting tips the rest of the day and lots of customers. All I can say is I WOULD BE DAMNED if i would leave anyone go into diabetic shock over a 50 cent peach and I hope no one else in this world would leave something bad happen to someone just because of lack of kindness. Just wish I could do the same for the farm.
