Well finally some good news folks! Thanks for all the good vibes and prayers. They are transporting Slim as we speak to one of the best Rehabilitation Centers in the state it is in Clinton, TN, its called Golden LivingCenter-Windwood. It is VA approved so I was told that the Mountain Home VA Hospital inspects their facilities (this is one of them) monthly and if they find out their vets arent being taken care of they are in deep doo doo, fired or loose license period. It is more like a home not a hospital, he will have his own team of folks working with him 24/7, he will never be left unattended and they gonna get that man outta that bed and moving and feeling better and now the VA has him back in their control, and I believe she said he was going to have another vet as roommate, this hospital was good but only paying more close attention to the spleen removal and wasnt making him do much rehab, bout broke my back helping him to bathroom last night at the hospital and that was with a nurse helping me. AND much to his delight they allow pet visits so once he gets settled Tazz can go visit his Daddy, after he gets a bath though LOL. It really sounds like an awesome place. I think he will be happier and he will have another vet room mate and they have all kinds of recreations and events and their food is supposed to be awesome, lets hope so cause he hasnt been able to eat that hospital food, didnt even look appetizing to me. He will have a lot of interaction and socializing with folks and once he starts feeling better I can bring his guitar to him and he can sing for the folks there......:) Thats the first thing he wants to do when he feels better, thats his pleasure so if he wants it I can bring it to him. Hes nervous but anxious to get out of the hospital it was really wearing him down. Heck all he did was sleep, that aint gonna happen in this place theyll get him back up and running. I am sooooooooo relieved now I can rest assured he is being well taken care of and he wont be left alone and sometimes put off until they can get to him. I am so happy right now, all my fears are calming down. They get on the phone with the Mountain Home VA Hospital every single morning with his specialists and figure out the plan for the day, so I know ALL of his issues are being addressed. God Bless everyone for their good vibes, wishes, hugs and prayers, it has meant so much to me.
