Well folks I have so much to say I dont know where to begin. I am finishing up my final class of my spring semester of College at Colorado Christian. I am still running a 4.0 average and owe it all to God. The glory belongs to him and him alone. Sherry hopefully is getting her stitches out tomorrow of what has been a testing time for both of us with the infection she had and all. God is healing her at a tremendous rate. Also as most of you know I am also the associate pastor of Sleepy Holler Church in Cordova, Alabama. I am presently reading a commentary on the book of Ephesians, which is a very interesting read for sure which leads me to my next statement: The creation of the Sleepy Holler Independent Church page was an idea I had. My reasoning is that a church according to Ephesians is not a brick and mortar building, but the body of Christ with Christ as the foundation or cornerstone. Each of you that has liked the church page are members of the church or body of Christ as Paul states in Ephesians. It has been primarily my duty to oversee that page and the 267 and counting people there. I post lessons, observations, encouragements as I am able and also anyone of those people can contact me or my senior pastor Terry Kelley for prayer and counselling and questions as is needed. Your prayer requests are read in the church in Cordova and are prayed over there as well as by me and the senior pastor. Now I wish for everyone to understand that just as a brick and mortar church has needs, so do we. There are things that I would like to be able to do such as post videos of sermons and the like for you to enjoy. I also have a desire to get them on ROKU for those of you who know what that is. Also we would like to be able to place a trailer down by the church so when I go to preach at the church or one of the nursing homes down there I would have a place to stay. I have made a request on the church page for anyone wishing to donate one as the Lord leads for this purpose. The church is classified as a 501c (3) non profit organization. This goes for the church page also as it is connected to the church. Any donations made from anyone on the church page or anyone in general for that matter goes into a special account at the church for this ministry. Any monetary gift or otherwise is tax deductible just like any other church and will gladly write out receipts from the church as is requested. I am not saying this for myself but for the church. I have my job and my personal needs are taken care of through other means like working LOL. But if the Lord leads you to donate anything to the ministry it is always greatly appreciated and you will be blessed for doing so. Even a donation of $3.00 or $5.00 will not go unnoticed by the church. Also if at any time anybody would like an accounting of anything donated to the ministry I will be more than happy to provide that to whomever requests. But even so as I have always done, I am available for those in need and will post lessons for those wishing to learn more about God and am always available for prayer requests. Now also if someone would like me to come preach at their church, that can also be arranged, but I obviously would have to be put up somewhere and gas to get there and back would also be a blessing also.
