Well, folks, I started out this beautiful day decorating for fall. Was having a wonderful day. I made a Chicken, Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole, looked really nice, put it in oven to bake. Buzzer rang, done! A good supper tonight I thought. I reached for the hot pads, something just slipped, half the casserole ended up in the oven, and I burnt my fingers. I ran cold water over them, wrapped an ice pack around my hand for a while. The fingers dont feel too burny right now. But my hand feels stiff for some reason. It was thought in passing to go to the ER but I treated them here. At least the casserole didnt bust in the oven when it fell. That would have been a worse mess. So, I just closed the oven for the night. But, what a mess to clean up tomorrow. I dont even know where to start. At least we have a self-cleaning oven and after the mess is cleaned out, Ill run the cycle. So, that was my day.
