Well folks after a much needed month off from the BBQ pit, it is time to get rolling again. We had been crazy busy this summer with parties, wedding rehearsals, vending and needed a break and time to unwind. I know, BBQ shouldnt be work but it can be. Anyway we have a party to do for one of our sponsors of Brandin Iron BBQ Team, Pete Manhart of Bates Commodities. Then it is back to the KCBS competitions... I wanted to let you all know that on Sept. 6th and 7th we will be doing the Heart of Illinois BBQ, Beer and Bluegrass Festival over at the Expo Gardens where they hold the heart of Illinois fair. It is the first contest that they have had over there so I hope we can get a good turn out so they can keep it going for the next few years. Get your party shoes on and come out for a great jam and BBQ. Mention that your a FB follower and well kick it around a bit after the cooking is done. Anyway, just wanted to give an update since it had been a while.
