Well folks thats the Macmillan Cup over for another year and what a day we had. Theres a lot of people to thank starting with Hen and Dicey Rileys Strabane, who has been invaluable in the running of the cup over the last two years. I want to thank Paul Gallagher (Gaggs) and Springhill Park Community Development Association for sponsoring the pitches on the day. I would also like to thank Ivan Barr and Strabane Community Rescue Service and St Johns Ambulance for their attendance on the day, their presence is so beneficial and important to the running of such a large event, and we couldnt really leave it in better hands! To Michael Ferry the legend for taking photos and running the best disco the towns ever seen! KP Doherty and Turkey McFeeters for help on the day with the smooth running of the competition and Josephine McGinn and Lisa Mc Gavigan for selling tickets. A big Thank you to Sharon Higgs Hegarty for feeding the mob in diceys. A massive thanks to every player that took part on the day. Without you there would be no tournament, so Im eternally to each and every one of you. . Once again your support is unmeasurable and so important to the survival of the fundraising! Finally Id like to Tag the Sponsors of the teams (If the sponsors havent got a Fb account, their next of Kin will be Tagged, lol) and the people that kindly donated prizes to the prize draw (likewise). We really appreciate your kindness and without it, we could not seriously run this fundraiser with any success whatsoever. Wed also like to Thank you, if you donated in any way or participated in any of Saturdays events, including ROCK THE BOAT at the disco! To date We have raised over £2100 for Macmillan and the overall total will be confirmed later this week. Thanks to you all and see you again soon
