Well, for one, I am curious as to what all my friends are doing, but for two Ill answer it myself: about to take Moby out into a rather frigid night for a walk while the herb & garlic chickens in the oven baking itself into a nice comfy dinner along with some roasted potatoes, then Joanne and I are going to settle in for a night watching a few more episodes of The Bridge. The prosecco has been opened, the tree is still glowing on its last night on display, and hopefully the firework goons in the neighborhood will keep it down tonight (hate how it effects Moby). Behind all that is a very warm gratitude for all of you. Its been a decent year for us, nothing spectacular but neither anything too troubling, and were hoping for another one just like it in 2015. Im happy to be over at XRAY now, happy the shows on Friday night. Still and always happy to be writing for Stereo Embers, helps make life full. Im happy that were going to Dunsmuir in a week to see how we like it in the dead of winter (the train trip alone will be a thrill), but more than anything else, really, Im happy for the love and grace that were surrounded by, be it family or the truly amazing array of friends here on these pages. Thank you, everyone, for adding to our lives, and for goodness sake HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR. We wish all of you health, happiness, good food and ESPECIALLY a lot of love...Dave & Joanne
